Rapper Lil Jon to appear at Koza Music Town Saturday

American Grammy Award winning rapper, music producer, entrepreneur and international DJ Lil Jon is set to headline a Saturday evening show at Koza Music Town in Okinawa City.

The 41-year-old Atlanta native first formed the group Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz 15 years ago, and is now traveling as a solo artist. His latest album, released in 2010, was Crunk Rock. He is performing at the concert open only for those 18 years of age and older, starting at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Doors open for the show, which has Mo and Yung Polo as the opening acts, deejays Irie, Ryu, Sugi, Task, and Yossy, and Big Eazy and Dilly Da Don as masters of ceremonies, is 6:30 P.M. Advance tickets are ¥4,000 + ¥500 for one drink. Tickets at the door are ¥5,000 + ¥500 drink ticket. Tickets are now on sale at Kadena ITT for only $45 + the ¥500 drink ticket to be purchased at the door.

A special after-concert bus service will run from Music Town Otoichiba to Naha following the concert. The ¥500 ride leaves at 11:15 p.m., and arrives on Naha’s Kokusai Street at midnight.
