The lucky winner of last week’s Japan Update weekly raffle was Tina Kisela. She won a pair of tickets to Kinoshita Circus, and was with her son able to catch one of its great shows during the circus’ final days in Tomigusuku before it moved on to Yokohama.

Tina is originally from Florida, but she moved to Okinawa 14 years ago and has made her home here. “This is where I like to live, and I have no intention to move away from the island ever,” she states.

She enjoys eating Goya Champuru, and singing karaoke on her free time. She would also like to go sightseeing in Kyoto one day.

Her favorite section in Japan Update is news, but she would like to read more restaurant reviews in the future.
