Marisol Vences is the winner of Japan Update raffle this week. She is looking forward to visiting Okinawa Prefectural Museum and Art Museum in Omoromachi, Naha City, in the near future, as she won a pair of tickets to the Marie Antoinette Exhibition running at the museum through Apr. 14.

Marisol hails from Chicago, IL, and has lived on Okinawa about two years. She says that she is scheduled to move on in April 2014. She says she’s very happy with her chance to live on the island, stating simply “I just love it here!”

Her favorite local food is Chicken Yakisoba, and when she is not busy eating her favorite on her free time, she likes to get around the island sightseeing. If the time allows, she would like to see as much of the rest of the country as possible during her stay here.
