28-year-old Yoshihiro Hokama was arrested on suspicion of entering illegally into an apartment room of a woman in the Kakazu district in Ginowan, Monday. He has admitted to the charge, and told investigators he was interested in the young woman who lives in the apartment.

Hokama also lives in the same building but on a different floor.. He broke into the room, in which the 21-year-old female university student lives by herself around 11 p.m.

According to Ginowan Police, he went into the room when the woman went out without locking the door, and was in the room when she returned. They bumped into each other in the darkness, and Hokama ran away. The woman called the police, and based on her description, the cops apprehended him, and he confessed to the charge.

The Personnel Section of Ginowan City has issued an apology to the woman, and say they intend to dismiss the man.
