Kanaderu Park Music Festival set for June 15th

Musicians play on several stages set along Chuo Park Avenue in Okinawa City.

Rain or shine, the seventh Kanaderu Park music festival in Kosa will present itself on Okinawa City’s Chuo Park Avenue June 15th.

All performances throughout the day are free for the public.

The seventh quarterly music extravaganza this time will feature eight live entertainment locations on Park Avenue, with some 50 sets of artists set to perform live either on the avenue or inside participating stores.  June 15th will see Chuo Park Avenue become a pedestrian paradise, with dance shows, including a kids dance and Zumba, as well as street performances taking place.

Performing will be Gospel Branch, Pablo, Ryuji, INFREE, KSABK, D&D, BLACK&WHITE, wunder3, SHOZY AND, TEDDY BOY, doudou, chienowa, SALI  WITH ANTI-ACICS, yur-lily, AMS, The Rody, KRAZY BOYS, Dance Studio 123, Zumba Tropical Soul, souvenir, Fruity & BEATERS and more.  The festival takes place noon to 8 p.m. and admission is free all across Okinawa City Chuo Park Avenue.

Kanaderu Park is the name tagged to the festival which sees participating live houses, music schools, restaurants, cafes and bars all get into the eating-and-drinking sales along Chuo Park Avenue, also known as BC Street.
