Okinawa City Police arrested 37-year-old Eric Lee Vegas, a military contractor from Uruma City, on suspicion of drunk driving, and causing an accident, Saturday morning.

According to Okinawa City Police, Vegas crashed his car into another in the Noborikawa area of Okinawa City. The driver of the other car was injured and taken to a hospital. His injuries are not life threatening.

A police patrol that arrived at the scene to investigate administered Vegas a breathalyzer test that showed his alcohol level at two times the legal limit, and he was arrested.
