The 5th Karate Premium League 2013 Tournament sponsored by World Karate Federation (WKF) was held in Hanau, Germany, Sep. 21st.

In men’s singles, Ryo Kiyuna (Ryueiryuryueikai) from Okinawa won the contest by defeating Issei Shinbaba of Osaka, 5-0. This is his second win in the class after he won the last year’s tournament that was held in Turkey in September.

Ryo Kiyuna also participated in the men’s group contest along with Shin Kinjo and Takuya Uemura (both Ryueiryu, Okinawa International University), and the group won the contest. This, too, was the second time the group won the tournament title as they did in last September’s tournament in Turkey.
