A taxicab ran over a man in an accident in Urasoe, Sep. 29 with fatal consequences.

According to Urasoe Police, The accident took place on Route 241 in Nihshihara, Urasoe City, early in the morning. The victim, 57-year-old office worker Osamu Nakada, was taken to a hospital, where he died of massive bleeding some four hours later.

Urasoe Police continues the investigation into the cause of the accident.
