Dan Gamboia was the lucky winner of the weekly JU raffle this time. He won a pair of tickets to Ryukyu Golden Kings basketball game.

Dan is from California and has been living on Okinawa nine years, but says although his life on the island has been very good the time to move on has come, and he is leaving in June 2014.

His favorite local food is tebasaki gyoza, a kind of spicy dumpling that is stuffed inside a chicken wing. He also enjoys visiting local festivals as much as possible, and would like to visit all the Okinawa’s outer islands before leaving.
