The 6th Okinawa International Movie Festival is scheduled to take place Mar. 20 through 24 at Okinawa Convention Center in Ginowan.

According to Yoshimoto Kogyo Entertainment Company President Hiroshi Ozaki the annual event will be shortened this year from it’s previous eight days to five days. The executive committee of the festival is scheduled to meet Feb. 10 in Naha to finalize the schedule of the festival.

Organizers are also looking for volunteers for the event. Those willing to volunteer should apply on line at: http://oimf.jp/ by Feb. 14.
