Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University (OIST) is inviting participants to attend study group “OIST Café” on Jan. 24th starting at 4 p.m. on OIST campus.

The purpose of the study group is to introduce OIST facilities and research programs to as many people as possible. During the OIST Café event researchers at the school are scheduled to give lectures and hold round-table discussions.

OIST Café began in Tokyo in April 2013, and this is the first time it’s held on Okinawa. Seika Kyoda from the OIST student support section said, “We hope not only students who are interested in scientific fields, but also students and parents who are interested in English presentation would attend.”
