Tomigusuku Fair features live fresh fish for sale, too.

Another new event for people to visit in Okinawa; Tomigusuku has jumped into the business fair arena, with its first ever event this weekend.

The Tomigusuku Fair takes place at Michi-no eki Toyosaki a.k.a. Toyosaki Road Station on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. ~ 7 p.m.  Admission is free.

Minitomatoes are the specialty of Tomigusuku area.

Special features at the Tomigusuku Fair include booths selling fresh fish and vegetables at very reasonable prices, and a mini tomato grabbing experience.  Some 60 companies from Tomigusuku will be participating so there will certainly be something for the whole family.

There will be a stage with live music from Manami, Jimama, Shiori and more! In addition, one of Okinawa’s favorites, Ryujin Mabuyer show, is sure to entertain the kids.

To get to Michi-no Eki Toyosaki, drive south past Naha Airport on Hwy 331, turn right up the ramp at Senaga Intersection and get off at Ashibinaa Outlet Mall exit. Turn right. The Toyosaki Michi-no Eki is on the right about 100 meters from the turn.
