According to Okinawa Labor Bureau number accidents on construction sites involving cranes has been on increase in Okinawa lately.

To prevent such accidents, the Okinawa Labor Bureau together with the Japan Crane Association started a series of seminars aimed at construction workers operating such equipment and their supervisors. The first seminar was held on Monday.

The seminars are scheduled to continue through the end of this year.
