A Taiwanese major air carrier EVA Airways Corp. will be starting its first direct regular flights between Naha and Taipei from June 17^th, officials at the company announced Apr. 9th.

This marks the first regular scheduled flight for the carrier between the two cities. The company will fly one daily round trip using Airbus A321-200 aircraft with 184 seats.

With the addition of EVA Airways, there will be five companies that fly between Naha and Taipei on regular schedule, each making one round trip a day, bringing the connection between the two cities to five flights a day.
