The first commander of Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265 is handing over his command in ceremonies this morning at Marine Corps Air Station Futenma.

Lt. Col. William L. DePue Jr.,is relinquishing command to Lt. Col. Christopher M. Murray during a change of command ceremony at 10 a.m.  DePue has commanded the Osprey squadron since its transformation from Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 265 in September 2012.

Murray comes to Okinawa and Futenma Marine Corps Air Station from duty as a special staff officer for the Group Commander of Marine Aircraft Group 36.
