The Tokyo based real estate company Intrance announced Tuesday, the sale of the land and building of Naha Tower, located next to Okinawa Mitsukoshi department store building on Kokusai Street.

The price and buyer, were not disclosed but according to local newspapers, the buyer was a hotel owner from Kyushu.

Naha Tower was built on 1973 on 2,367 square meters of land. It has 19,155 sq.m. of floor space that has been vacant for some time.

The selling negotiations of the building might have progressed since the closing of Okinawa Mitsukoshi was made public, and before expected higher land prices in the area.
