All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd, usually known as ANA, opened a new special lounge called ‘ANA Suite Lounge’ in Naha Domestic Airport for its frequent flyers with the Diamond Members’ card.

The new lounge is the third such special lounge in Japan for ANA’s domestic customers after Haneda and Narita airports, and ANA officials claim that the Okinawa’s lounge is the most luxurious in Japan.  ANA offers this special service to their most frequent flyers to enable them to spend their waiting time at the airport in comfort. The lounge services include the security check prior to boarding a flight.

ANA officials say that many customers have requested for a lounge where they could relax before boarding their flight.  The company is expecting the lounge to serve about 150 people a day.

The lounge features a room with 41 special chairs installed with Wi-Fi’s.  In addition to regular soft drinks and beer, Awamori and fresh juice made from local fruits like shiqwasa and Jimmy’s cookies are served for free.  The room is decorated with coral and Okinawan traditional woven fabric ‘Minsaa’.
