Two U.S. servicemen nabbed for DUI Saturday morning

Ginowan Police arrested two U.S. service members on suspicion of drinking and driving, Saturday.

According to Ginowan Police, 22-year-old Cpl Bohn Jonson from Camp Hansen drove a car after drinking, and hit a concrete block wall of a private house in Uchidomari, Ginowan, about 4:30 a.m. Saturday morning. The breathalyzer test showed he had about three times the legal limit of alcohol in his breath.  Two other people, a man and a woman, were in the car at the time of the accident. None of them was injured.

In another incident, 26-year-old SrA Harold Houston from Kadena Air Base was pulled over at a police sobriety checkpoint on Highway 58 in Oyama, Ginowan, about 5 a.m. Saturday. A breathalyzer test showed about twice the legal limit of alcohol in his breath. Three fellow passengers were in his car.

Both Jonson and Houston have denied the charges.
