Lingerie maker to have event for special needs customers

Wacoal, one of the largest women’s clothing manufacturers in Japan that specializes in making women’s underwear, is scheduled to hold a consulting and try-on event for women who have had a breast reconstruction surgery.

The event is scheduled to take place at Wacoal’s Okinawa Customer Center in Kumoji, Naha, on Feb. 17th and 18th starting at 10 a.m. At the event people can try on any selection of lingerie from Wacoal catalogue, and consult special advisors face to face on how, for example, to choose bras and pads to fit their special needs. Company representatives will also take orders for the merchandise at the event.

The event features a wide selection of products, for instance, light-weight-cup bras, silicon pads that are made with texture and weight to resemble real, special bras and swimming suits of many different sizes and designs.

Hideki Araki, a section chief of the customer center says, “Every person has different needs for fitting underwear, and we are here to help them to find their favorite.”
