The construction of the Asahibashi monorail station area including the Naha Bus Terminal starts today. The redevelopment is scheduled to be complete by the end of March 2018.

The Bus Terminal closes today, and most bus platforms are moving to temporary locations in the surrounding areas. Platforms No. 11 through 14 that are located on Hwy 330 will stay on their current places, but the others will move near the current platform No. 3.

The information booth and ticket counter are also moving into a temporary facility located between the terminal and the Asahibashi monorail station.

Bus time tables will also change, and bus operators urge people using buses regularly for transportation to take notice.
