Optical illusions create exciting science experience

A wall that remembers your gestures.

A “fushigi” science experience is moving into its final weeks at Ashibinaa Outlet Mall in Tomigusuku, offering a variety of challenges to coincide with the upcoming Golden Week.

How to open the trick door is a mystery into itself.

People can experience various tricks, taking advantage of optical illusions or 3D glasses, in this event, including ‘Black Hole’.  When visitors enter into the hole, they are not able to stand up, their body could lean right or left, and people can play a harp that has no strings.  Fushigi means ‘mysterious’. Organizers call this an event that not only children, but also adults, can enjoy.

The Fushigi Science Experience is taking place in the second floor special events space at Outlet Mall Ashibinaa from 11 a.m. ~ 7 p.m. weekdays, and 10:30 a.m. ~ 7  p.m. weekends and Japanese holidays. Last entry is one-half hour before closing.  Admission is ¥700 for adults and high school students, ¥400 for elementary and junior high school students, and ¥200 for pre-school age youngsters.
