The University of the Ryukyus, Meio Universit of Nago and the University of Hawaii concluded a consortium agreement at the Hawaii State Government Office on May 13th.

According to the agreement, the three universities will strengthen cooperation with each other in a wide range of fields like languages, tourism and natural sciences.  Hawaii Governor David Ige was present at the signing of the agreement.

Representatives of the universities stated that although the three universities had previously collaborated on many projects, the new agreement would strengthen their network.
