Naha Police arrested eight men on Sunday on suspicion of violating the Cannabis Control Law.

According to police, they found the pot in the home of 22-year-old Kyosuke Ebita, one of the suspects when they entered the house Sunday morning. There were eight men in the house, and all were arrested.

When questioned, Ebita claimed that the cannabis was his and the others had nothing to do with it. Shinya Ishikawa, also aged 22, admitted to investigators that he knew there was cannabis in Ebita’s home, but the rest six suspects claimed that they didn’t know.
