Torii Beach invites folks to party on two consecutive weekends.

Torii Beach is this year exploring new ways for its popular annual Summer Party, by having the party on two consecutive weekends. The first installment of the beach fun is this Friday and Saturday, and the second part a week later.

Torii Beach Summer Party is scheduled to go on over two consecutive weekends.

Another change is that music at the party will be pumped up by the top DJs on the island exclusively, no live bands but Torii MWR says they will still have all the great food, drinks, entertainment and cool people they are famous for. They remind everyone that taxi and daiko services will be available to get folks home safely.

Nothing’s beats the beach, says Army MWR, and Torii Beach has the best sunsets anywhere on the island as tiki torches and colorful lights will illuminate the beach and even some of the ocean.

The event on all days begins at 19:00 and runs through midnight. Plenty of delicious food and refreshing drinks are on the menu, and as the fireworks shoot up at 21:45 on both Saturdays, the party really gets going, as the top local DJ’s get into action spinning their best and most exciting dance and party tunes for people to dance the night away by the sea and under shining stars all the way to the midnight.

No personal alcoholic beverages, food, glass, pets or canopies are permitted on Torii Beach. Admission is free and is open to the entire community. Don’t drink and drive. Taxis and daiko services are ready to make sure everyone gets home safely.

If a bad weather forces either of the weekends cancelled, the party will take place on Aug. 12 and 13.
