A ghost photo studio will take pictures to remember.

Yaese Town Office will become a Halloween Town for a day on Saturday, Oct. 29th from 10:00 to 15:30. The office is at 1188, Kochinda, Yaese, Shima-jiri, Okinawa.

The free event features workshops for kids to make Halloween Shisa and monster bags. A Halloween Costume Contest at 13:00 is also on agenda. Entries to the contest are accepted from 10:00 to 12:00. The number of entries is limited to first 30.

There’s also a ghost photo studio where a cameraman is eager to take pictures. Admission to and parking at the event are free.

There are two Halloween Parades scheduled for the day, the first starting at 10:30 and the second at 13:30. Both parades will proceed along the Yaese Town Office Street. “Shi-chan,” the mascot character of Yaese Town is scheduled to attend the parades, too.

Other fun at the event includes blowing bubbles, chalk art, a kitchen car and food vendors in front of the Yaese Town Office. Children will also enjoy a trampoline and go-cart rides.

Finally, all children will be handed a card for collecting stamps of Magic words. Collecting a card full of stamps earns a prize.
