Asahi Orion Inryo, the maker of Bireley’s brand soft drinks, has launched a new soft drink called “Okinawa Bireley’s Shiqwasa” using shiqwasa (hirami lemon) juice made in Okinawa.

This is the first soft drink from Bireley’s that uses shiqwasa, and the company aims to sell a million 500ml bottles by December. The product contain 3% of shikuwasa juice made in the northern Okinawa. It’s said to have a good balance of sourness and sweetness.

The drink is priced at ¥140 for a 500ml bottle or ¥115 for a 350ml can excluding tax.
