U.S. airman arrested for DUI

Ginowan Police arrested an U.S. airman Sunday morning on suspicion of DUI.

According to police, 25-year-old Sr.A Jarrett Walls stationed at Kadena Air Base was arrested early Sunday morning on suspicion of driving a car under the influence of alcohol on Hwy 58 at Isa. Police say a patrol car noticed the car driven by Walls speeding and stopped him. When questioning him, an officer noticed a smell of alcohol and administered a breathalyzer test that showed about 5 times the legal limit of alcohol in his breath.

Walls reportedly admitted to the charge stating, “I drank 3 or 4 mugs of beer.”
