Two youths killed in motorcycle accident

Two teenage boys were killed when the driver of the motorcycle they were riding lost control and crashed into a utility pole about 3:30 a.m. on national road 329 in Kuba, Nakagusuku.

The boys were riding on a 125cc motorcycle when it crashed. Both boys had a valid motorcycle driver’s license, but police have not been able to determine which one of them was driving.

Ryou Yonaha, a 16-year-old high school student, and Masaya Morita, a 16-year-old demolition worker were taken to a hospital, where both were confirmed dead. Ginowan Police are investigating details of the accident.

The road makes a sight curve at the accident site. It has two lanes to both directions. The boys they were driving south, when the motorcycle went into the sidewalk for an unknown reason and crashed into the utility pole.
