Urasoe Museum to show latest works of Ryuta Kinjo

Okinawan creative artist Ryuta Kinjo is preparing for his second local art exhibition in two years, hosting a six-day program at the Urasoe Art Museum.

The 34-year-old Kinjo is working as a paint artist, creating wall paintings, flyers, logos and objects. The Ishimine, Shuri native’s specialty is using clear panels to create solid works, and using special lights and special paints to create art of the light.

The exhibition runs September 12th ~ 17th, from 9:30 a.m. ~ 7 p.m. Last entry is at 6 p.m. Tickets are ¥1,000 in advance and ¥1,200 at the door. Kids under 14 are admitted free.
