Ginowan Police arrested a 14-year-old junior high school boy on a charge of an assault resulting in injury, Nov. 3, because the boy had attacked violently his junior of the same school.

The boy has admitted to the charge.

The attack victim, who is also 14 years old suffered injuries on his face and head.

According to the police the elder boy called some of his juniors to a graveyard in the middle part of Okinawa about 6 p.m. on Oct. 30, and then assaulted the other boy violently for 15 minutes punching his face and head and kicking his arms.

Investigators suspect that other boys besides the arrested were present at the graveyard and are continuing their investigation

Police say the arrested boy become angry because he thought someone had informed outsiders that the arrested boy had extorted money from others.
