A caller to the police emergency number at 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 15 reported that “I heard child shouting ‘Help!’ near an overflow pool” at Kiyuna district of Ginowan City.

About 30 officers from the Ginowan Fire Station and Ginowan Police station were mobilized, and they searched an 120-meter-long underground drainpipe that is linked to the overflow pool.

However, no trace that a human would have entered into the drainpipe was discovered, and the rescue crews finished their search after two hours.
