The opening event of “Kokusai Street Performer Event” that is planned to become a regular part of Sunday programs on Kokusai Street by an organization of street performers, was held on Dec. 9 at a facility called Tenbus Naha Pocket Park in Naha City.

On the opening day, many performers, including a local idol called Lagoon, appeared on the stage.

The performer events will continue until the end of March next year, and will be held at four venues, the Tenbus Naha Pocket Park, Mutsumi Bridge crossing, open space in front of Lawson Matsuo branch, and near the Matsuo bus station during the transit mall (traffic-free zone) time every Sunday.
