The Beach Tower in Mihama celebrates its 8th anniversary on New Year Eve with Fireworks.

The night promises to be a  bit chilly, but not a drop of precipitation’s in the forecast for the New Year’s Eve midnight fireworks at Mihama’s Sunset Beach.

Organizers say there will be 888 fireworks shot into the sky this year, linking the holiday with the 8^th anniversary of the Beach Tower Okinawa.  Admission is free to the celebration at Sunset Beach, where the fireworks will light up the Chatan-Mihama sky.

The midnight temperature is forecast to be 11ºC.
