A mini-car driven by a 41-year-old female nurse hit a 74-year-old woman who was crossing the road at a city crossing in Miyazato, Okinawa City at 2:15 p.m., Sunday.

The elderly woman suffered serious injuries including broken bones on her face but her injuries are not life threatening.
