Natural beauty meets a beautiful natural scent as the 4^th Camellia Festival takes place beginning Saturday in Kunigami Village Forest Park.

The festival and exhibition focus on camellia, flowering trees and shrubs that produce oils, a scent ingredient, in addition to leaves and the beauty of nature.  The exhibition takes place in Forest Park in Kunigami Village, site of the walking venue National Camellia Summit this year.  The festival runs

Camellia’s red round flowers bloom through late February.

through February 17^th, 10 a.m. ~ 5 p.m., and admission is free.

Officials say the first 20-50 visitors to the festival each day will be presented free young camellia trees at 1 p.m.
