An emergency call to Uruma Fire Department reported a man lying on the ground next to a bull, on the afternoon of Mar. 17.

The man was taken to a hospital in a cardio respiratory arrest, where he was pronounced dead.

According to Ishikawa Police, they suspect that the bull for some reason stepped on the man killing him. The dead man was a 83-year-old resident of Uruma City. He was taking care of the animal that police described as a fighting bull.
