All products at the fair are made in Okinawa.

A five-day exhibition and sale of Okinawa crafts gets under way on next Wednesday’s national holiday at the Plaza House Shopping Center in Okinawa City.

The 11^thOkinawa City Craft Fair runs daily 10 a.m. ~ 8 p.m. at the shopping center’s second floor atrium.  Admission is free.  More than 60 stores will be featuring crafts items including china, woodwork, glass, dying and textile, leather, accessories, audio gear and guitars.  All products are made in Okinawa.

Everything is for sale at bargain prices.

There’s no entry fee, so visitors can admire the various handicrafts and not feel embarrassed by not making purchases.  There will also be opportunities at some booths for visitors to observe the process by which handicrafts are created.
