An outer wall of a building under demolition collapsed suddenly in Aragusuku, Ginowan, bringing down scaffolding and dust prevention nets, and scattering pieces of concrete across the street and sidewalk about 11 a.m. on Apr. 18.

The debris blocked off the sidewalk and part of the street on a stretch of 20 meters.

Two lanes of Hwy 81 near Isa Intersection were closed for four hours until the construction crew cleared the site. According to Ginowan Police, the building that collapsed was and old three-story concrete apartment building, and the outer walls of its first and second floor collapsed.

No one was injured in the accident.
