Marine arrested after accident on suspicion of DUI
The Okinawa Prefectural Police arrested a Marine on suspicion of driving under influence Friday evening.
According to the police, 27-year-old Charles Brown rear-ended a car driven by a local woman. When the police patrol arrived at the scene, a police officer smelled alcohol in Brown’s breath, and administered a breathalyzer test that showed that Brown had about twice the limit of alcohol in his breath. He was subsequently arrested.
Police say that Brown has admitted to the charge. The woman in the other car was not injured in the accident.
