The Kodomo-no Kuni panel exhibition show birds and other wild animals in their natural environments, and also explains the birds’ breeding seasons and habits.

It’s spring, the season when wild birds breed, and the Okinawa Zoo, Okinawa Kodomo no Kuni, is now featuring a panel exhibition on not only birds, but also 200 kinds of animals including mammals, fish and reptiles.

The Wild Birds Panel Exhibition runs through Friday, May 31^st, from 9:30 a.m. ~ 6 p.m. at the Ark Okimaru at the zoo. Last entrance to the zoo is at 5 p.m.  The exhibition is closed on Tuesdays. Admission is ¥500 for adults, ¥200 for those 13~18, ¥100 for kids 4~12, and free for those three and under.

As part of the breeding season presentation, people can see breeding of various wild birds in spring, and the child rearing of birds in Kodomo no Kuni are now at their best. In this panel exhibition, which is connecting with “Bird Week”, various wild birds will be introduced.  It is the optimal spot for playing together with a child at this warm season.
