David from Kansas City, MO, is this week’s lucky winner of the Japan Update weekly raffle. He is going to spend one free night in the Best Western Naha Inn, a nice and comfortable business hotel that is located the Asato district in the heart of Naha, and it’s shopping and entertainment area around Kokusai Street.

David has lived past six months in Yomitan on Okinawa, and says that he likes his life here so far very much. “As I love all kinds of fresh seafood, Okinawa I a heaven come true for me. There’s nothing better than fresh sashimi on your plate,” he states.

In the near future, he would like to travel throughout Japan as much as possible and see all the sights he has read before. He also likes all kinds of festivals that are upcoming over the next few weeks, and also looks forwards to visit some of the island’s live houses he has heard so much from his friends.
