Rock and blues on Friday the 13th
Rock and blues lovers have a rare chance to enjoy their favorite music on Friday, Dec. 13, when Jazz Jungle and Music Town Oto-Ichiba present Rock & Blues at Music Town in Okinawa City concert.
Performing will be a band consisting of vocalist Sawako, Yuji Hayashi on piano, Sora Okuma, Rintaro Masui and Yoshiya Chinen playing guitars, Jeff Kurakata on bass and veteran musicians Etsu on drums and Kensei on guitar and vocals who perform together for the first time in 40 years. Etsuo Aguni, a.k.a. Etsu has been active on Okinawan music scene since the 70’s. He was also the drummer with band Condition Green. Kensei is a well-known guitarist who used to play with bands like Kotobuki and Marie & Medusa.
The musicians play two stages with the first starting at 6:30 and the second at 9 p.m. Tickets cost ¥2,500 in advance and ¥3,000 at door. Advance tickets are available at FamilyMart and Lawson convenience
stores, Music Town Oto Ichiba, Fukuhara and Teruya music stores, and FM Koza radio station.
