Ryukyu Dragon Koza Battle Festa 2, Dec. 28, at Music Town
Professional wrestling is back with a passion on Okinawa, and next weekend promises to be no-holds-barred for the titles at the Ryukyu Dragon Koza Battle Festa 2.
The December 28tharena battles take place at Music Town, beginning at 7 p.m., with the Ryukyu Dragon Pro Wrestling team taking on a famous wrestler Tatsumi Fujinami, and new pro wrestlers from Taiwan. Special ringside seats are available for ¥5,500, reserved seats cost ¥4,500, while non-reserved seats are ¥3,500. Tickets for those 65 years old and over
are ¥2,500, junior & high school students ¥2,500, and elementary students and under are free with a parent or guardian.
The Ryukyu Dragon Pro Wrestling team was established in April 2013 for the fans who appreciate and enjoy the exciting wrestling matches and wish to continue to see live tournaments. The pro outfit replaces another company that went out of business a year earlier. The Ryukyu Dragon Pro Wrestling organization has brought back to the ring many popular Okinawa themed characters, including Gurkun Mask and Ryukyu-Dog Dingo.
The team is based on the 3rd floor of Navel Kadena shopping complex. They hold periodical events, mostly on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and participate in various community events such as beach cleanings, festivals and shopping malls.
Ryukyu Dragon wrestlers have all the right moves to entertain the audience.
The wrestling shows are fashioned after the American WWE Pro Wrestling shows, promising fun action packed and exiting family entertainment that everyone can enjoy.
