And this week’s winner is…

This week’s lucky winner of the JU weekly raffle was Albert Anthony B. Quesada, who won a pair of tickets to last weekend’s Ryujin-no Utage show.

Albert is from the Philippines that he says is a good place to live, except natural disasters tend to happen quite often. He has lived on Okinawa about one and half year, and likes his life here quite a lot. “This is a very exciting and colorful place to live. I love it!” he says.

His favorite local food is soki soba, an Okinawan staple that he says wins his vote any time. “That is absolutely my favorite here, although I like all Okinawan food. People here are very nice, and I also like festivals and the weather,” he explains.

As he has not lived on the island for very long, he is planning to visit Nago and the Churaumi Aquarium in the near future. He also plans to visit south in Nanjo, Itoman. and Shuri Castle.

“I want to bring my family here in the future, so they can experience what I have been lucky enough to experience. And I would love to take them for a visit to Tokyo Disneyland,” Albert says.
