The Okinawa International Festival features various entertainment acts from different countries.

Plaza House Shopping Mall is the venue for the 24th Okinawa City International Festival sponsored by the Okinawa City International Association, Sunday.

Folk dances are a big part of the festival.

The day-long program starts at 11 a.m. and continues until 7 p.m. There will be food booths, folk dances and other entertainment from various countries. The attractions include live folk music group Los Aficionados, salsa dancers from Studio Estadio Claverio, belly dance, flamenco, hula, Indian dance and much more! Everyone attending the event can take part in a raffle.

A special notice in this year’s festival is the celebration of the 100th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations with Bolivia.

There is tasting of local products, too.

The event takes place on the first and second floor of the Plaza House Shopping Center. Free parking is available in front of the mall and in the basement. Admission to the event is free.
