The new Naha Bus Terminal in Asahibashi will have 11 floors and 18,000 square meters of floor space.

The Okinawa Prefectural Government granted on Mar. 26th, the Asahibashi Urban Redevelopment Corp. the permission to build a new Naha Bus Terminal.

According to the plan, the company will construct on the site of the current bus terminal a 11-story building with a total of 18,000 square meters of floor space.

Besides the bus terminal on its ground floors, the building will have space for the Okinawa Prefectural Library, Good Job Center and other public facilities, in addition to private commercial facilities and tenant offices.

The construction is scheduled to be completed by 2017.
