The Okinawa Meteorological Observatory sent out an early warning on Apr. 24^th, saying Okinawa is likely to experience abnormal weather during the Golden Week holidays from Apr. 29 through May 6.

The agency predicts temperatures could fall drastically below the average. They put the probability of such weather at about 54% .
