Okinawa Marine Festa 2014 take place at Ginowan Marina, Sat. & Sun..

The Okinawa Marine Festa 2014, the island’s only boat show, will be introducing the latest model boats, yachts and personal watercraft this weekend.

The boat show runs Saturday 10 a.m. ~ 5 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. ~ 4 p.m. at the Ginowan Marina, next to the Okinawa Convention Center.  Admission is free.  Aside from the latest in boats, exhibitors will be showing off their engines and accessories, boating wear and safety equipment, and for the angler, game fishing gear.

At the festival there will be many types of boats, yachts, water crafts and 2014 new models, as well as a popular lineup of marine available for sale. There will also be a variety of boat parts and gear for cruising navigation systems, equipment needed for boat fishing and marine wear. There will also be information on attending lectures to obtain a boat license and information on boat storage.  Organizers are also promising “some fun such as boat game fishing and other events.”
