Starting Monday, the bus lane times on Highway 58 have been reduced by 30 min. between Asahibashi in Naha to Isa in Ginowan City.

The new bus lane time is from 7:30 ~ 9 a.m. towards Naha, and 5:30 ~ 7 p.m. northbound. Okinawa Prefectural Police say other roads will also be considered to have the bus lane times cut down starting from the beginning of August. According to Okinawa Prefectural Police, this change is the first since 1974 when the bus lanes were introduced on Okinawan roads.
