Hotel Orion Motobu to open this weekend

A private pre-opening introduction was held, Tuesday, at the new Hotel Orion Motobu Resort & Spa in Bise, Motobu Town. The hotel will officially open for business this Saturday.

About 600 invited guests from companies related to the new hotel and local officials celebrated the completion of the hotel. Orion Beer Co. President Yoshio Kadekaru stated, “We were able to make this hotel possible with the cooperation of local residents. We hope to make this hotel one that truly contributes to Motobu Town and promotes tourism in northern Okinawa.

The construction costs of the hotel totaled ¥12 billion. The work started in Dec. 2012 and was completed in June. The hotel has 12 floors and 238 rooms, and the capacity to accommodate about 900 guests.

The facilities include a hot spring, indoor pool, banquet hall and chapel. All rooms are large with 50 square meters or more floor space, and all have an ocean view.
